After paying that price, Jesus rose from the grave and rules in God's kingdom.

It's not saying these words that will save you, but the repentance and faith behind this prayer that are the rock of your salvation. Today is your day. Repent of your sin and accept Jesus Christ as your savior, who paid for your life with His own.
